An employee confessed on Threads to a sneaky prank that has been testing their colleagues' situational awareness for six months. Back in December, they managed to change the office printer’s digital status message to read "PC LOAD LETTER - MERRY CHRISTMAS." They noted that even now, deep into June, absolutely nobody has bothered to reset the settings, so the machine just continues to spread festive cheer to confused staff members printing out summer quarterly reports.
