Whistling While Working With Zero Proof

During her early auditions for the role of Snow White, Rachel Zegler actually had no trailer or major film footprint for Disney executives to review, as West Side Story had not yet hit theatres. Instead, director Marc Webb and the casting team took a massive leap of faith backed by a glowing letter of recommendation from none other than Steven Spielberg. To clinch the role, Zegler had to run through whimsical screen tests that included acting out scenes where she hilariously tried to teach a non-existent, CGI Dopey how to whistle, leaving the production team completely charmed and occasionally in tears.
