National Wales Drought

A formal drought status has been officially declared across the entirety of Wales as environmental conditions continue to deteriorate rapidly. Weeks of prolonged dry weather and record-setting heat have depleted local reservoirs and caused river levels to drop to critical lows. The UK Health Security Agency estimates that the country is currently on track for its highest number of heat-related deaths since records began.
