Brazil launches multi-million dollar artificial intelligence infrastructure push
The government announced a strategic plan to invest over two billion reais to significantly bolster its national technology ecosystem. The federal project splits major computing contracts between alternative global superpowers in an effort to maintain diplomatic neutrality. More than half of the total funding is dedicated to building an advanced supercomputing hub in Rio de Janeiro using hardware supplied by Chinese tech firms.
